Villanova's
Sesquicentennial has given the university an excellent opportunity to
explore the present and future through the perspective of the past.
The celebration of 150 years has also offered Villanova an ideal
environment for compreshensive planning. These plans already include
a major capital campaign; the strengthening of Villanova's core
curriculum; the development of the West Campus; the construction of new
residence halls; the continued pursuit of academic excellence; and, most
importantly, a reaffirmation of Villanova's Augustinian ideals and
Catholic character, combined with a commitment to greater cultural
diversity.
